Terms of Service
The agreement between you and SHADOEVEX for using this platform. By creating an account, registering a team, or paying a registration fee, you accept these terms.
Last updated: 19 July 2026
1. Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SHADOEVEX website, tournament dashboard, and related services (the "Platform"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. Continued use after any change to these Terms means you accept the updated version.
2. Eligibility & age
- You must be at least 16 years old to compete. Participants under 18 must have verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian.
- Where a registration fee or cash prize is involved, the account holder must be 18 or older, or be represented by a consenting parent/guardian who accepts these Terms on their behalf.
- You must provide accurate registration and roster information (in-game name, Player ID, contact details). Impersonation or false information may void your entry without refund.
3. Accounts
- One account per person. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
- Team captains are responsible for their roster, their team's conduct, and all submissions (payments, check-ins, screenshots) made on the team's behalf.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with or without notice.
4. Tournament participation
- Each tournament has its own rules, format, scoring profile, schedule, slot limit, and prize breakdown shown on its details page. Those tournament-specific rules form part of these Terms for that event.
- Registration is a request for a slot; a slot is confirmed only after organizer approval and (where applicable) entry-fee payment.
- Room IDs and passwords are confidential, released on a timer before each match, and must not be shared outside your team.
- Results are entered by organizers from verified end-screen screenshots. Missing, reused, or edited screenshots are scored zero and may lead to disqualification.
5. Registration fee (service charge)
- Some tournaments are free to enter. Where a fee applies, the amount (fee per player × team size), currency, and methods are shown before you pay, including manual bank/wallet transfers with uploaded proof.
- The registration fee is a service charge for organizing and running the event (servers, administration, officiating, prizes logistics). It is not a stake or wager, and it is not pooled to fund prizes. Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund & Payment Policy.
- You are responsible for paying from an account you control and for the accuracy of the transaction reference you submit.
6. Prizes & payouts
- Prizes are funded separately by sponsors/partners or by the organizer, are fixed and announced in advance, and do not depend on the number of participants or the fees collected. Each tournament shows who funds its prizes.
- Prizes are paid only after results are finalized and any disputes are resolved, to the payout details you provide. Delays can occur while verifying identity or results.
- You are solely responsible for any taxes, fees, or charges applicable to prizes you receive. Providing incorrect payout details may forfeit or delay a prize.
- Prizes are contingent on the tournament reaching its stated conditions and on your team completing the event without disqualification.
7. Game of skill — not gambling
- This is a skill-based esports competition. Results are determined solely by player performance — placement and eliminations under the published scoring rules — not by chance, lottery, draw, or a random mechanic.
- There is no pooling of participant money into a prize, no wagering or betting between users, no odds, and no stored-value wallet or deposits. The registration fee is a service charge; prizes come from sponsors/organizer. Nothing on this Platform constitutes a game of chance or gambling.
8. Shariah compliance
- The model is structured to avoid qimar/maysir (gambling) and gharar (excessive uncertainty): the fee is ujrah (a fee for a defined service), and prizes are a reward (ju'ala) provided by a sponsor or the organizer — not the pooled stakes of the contestants.
- Outcomes depend on skill, rules are clear and fixed in advance, and prize funding is disclosed. A summary of our compliance position is on the Legal & Shariah Compliance page.
9. Fair play & prohibited conduct
The following result in disqualification, forfeiture of fees and prizes, and possible permanent blacklisting:
- Cheating, hacking, exploits, unauthorized emulators, or third-party software that alters gameplay.
- Account sharing, ringers, teaming/collusion, match-fixing, or screenshot fraud.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, toxicity, or abuse of staff, opponents, or the Platform.
- Attempts to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other users' data.
10. Your content & license
You retain ownership of the content you submit (team name, logo, screenshots, roster). By submitting it, you grant SHADOEVEX a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use that content to operate the Platform, verify results, and promote events (for example, showing team names and standings publicly). You confirm you have the right to submit it and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
11. Intellectual property & non-affiliation
SHADOEVEX branding and Platform content are owned by us or our licensors. SHADOEVEX is an independent tournament organizer. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with KRAFTON, Inc., Tencent, Level Infinite, PUBG MOBILE, or any of their subsidiaries or trademarks. All game names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification and descriptive purposes. See our Disclaimer.
12. Third-party services
Payments, messaging (SMS/email), and other features may rely on third-party providers. Your use of those features may also be subject to the third party's terms. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or losses caused by third-party services.
13. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any tournament will take place, reach a prize threshold, or be free of technical issues.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SHADOEVEX, its organizers, staff, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform or participation in any tournament. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount of registration fees you paid for the specific tournament giving rise to the claim.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SHADOEVEX and its organizers from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your conduct during any tournament.
16. Disputes, decisions & governing law
- Organizer decisions on results, penalties, disqualifications, and disputes are final and binding.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
17. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms at any time; material changes take effect when posted. Questions about these Terms can be sent through our contact page.
